We enjoyed our experience at Wilmot Stage Stop. Waitress very friendly and took care of our needs. We ordered Strip steak rare and was medium too done for his liking. Overall everything is good

Old stagecoach stop from 1848. Atmosphere is good, museum on the top two floors. Recommend reservations. Expensive but great food, including dry aged bone in ribeye. House-made salad dressing was very good. Their slogan includes "Heaps of butter" and you get a half pound block with your baked potato. Service was excellent. Off street parking.

I hadn't been to the Stage stop for several years, but returned last evening. What a great decision that proved to be. We arrived early for our reservation and went to the bar.the old fashioned was perfect. Our charcoal grilled ribeyes and filet were cooked to perfection. Doused with garlic butter delicious. Ordered the accompanying Lobster tails again perfectly cooked. Great baked potato. They give you plenty of butter and sour cream. We shared a brandy Alexander for desert. Great, friendly service. Everyone seemed to love working there. I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK!

The Supper Club tour continues. Definitely make your reservations in advance or you are out of luck! A Saturday trip, arrived at our reservation time of 4:00-opening time, however you can get in earlier) KC our server was great and attentive. Check out the menu before hand but listen to your servers specials. 3 dressings served: French/Thousand island/roquefort. Watch for the huge chunk of butter served. Rib eye was excellent! Lobster with drawn butter under a candle like the old days. The Brandy Alexander was huge! Pineapple cheese cake was yummy. Don't forget to see the museum on the upper floor to walk off the dinner. Over all, worth the scenic drive up there. (Note: Wilmot is not much of a tourist town...sorry Wilmot)

Lobster was pricey but amazing! The waitress (K.C. I believe her name was) super kind and attentive! If you don't mind walking on dipping floor boards, go up stairs and check out that whole other area! You step back into the 1800's in a matter of moments! I'd def go back !!!

If you are not a football fan, the time to dine is during the Superbowl. Lovely dinner, right next to the grill. Very quiet compared to normal weekend, but especially for an early Valentine's Day dinner. I had boneless ribeye, my husband had New York strip. Both cooked to perfection. HUGE POTATO and a lovely cold water lobster tail for me. If you want the best kick out of your cocktail sauce, add lemon to it. Lemon on the shrimp is not enough. Thank you again!!! Looking forward to returning again.
